Elly is Home!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elly came home on Monday Oct. 30th. It was a beautiful sunny day. We picked her up at the NICU and said goodbye to all the nurses and doctors and respiratory therapists.

When we left, Elly was 4 lbs 8 oz. She is now 4 lbs 12 oz. She is getting used to a quiet enviroment and low lights. She eats every three hours and loves to be held. We still do K care which she just loves.

Elly failed her hearing screening tests so we are going to see a hearing specialists on Nov. 21. She also has some sight issues that are mild and so we have an eye appt. for her.

Elly gets a bath and a massage every day and she just loves it!! She is also very social and loves to hear noises. I guess its the NICU enviroment and having so many people loving her.

Thank you so much for being my spiritual support during this period in my life. Your prayers and support have helped us get through this very difficult time. We continue to ask for your prayers for her as she enters life during the flu season. RSV can be fatal to preemies with lung disease which she has. So please continue to pray for her.

I will continue to blog so that you can see her continued growth and development. May God Bless you abundantly!
