Elly is 5 lbs and 2 oz. and is 16 1/2 inches long!

Elly is doing very well at home. We are all trying to adjust to having 6 people in our home and we are loving it. Elly is so loved by her brother and sisters and they can't get enough of her. Marie is like her second mom always wanting to take care of her before she goes to school and as soon as she arrives.

Elly loves being with her siblings. She seems to enjoy being surrounded by them all the time. They are spoiling her and its so good to see it.

Elly has had 2 doctor appts so far. She was 4 lbs 8 oz. on her first visit last week and was 5 lbs 2 oz this past Friday. She has quiet an appetite and its a good thing there is plenty of milk in the freezer for her! She is on the heart monitor and so far she has had a few bradies but not many.

Last week she had the most horrible eye exam. It was so bad, they used a metal protractor to pry her eyes open and then they stuck a metal instrument to manipulate her eyeball in order to check her vision problems. I am sorry to say that she will have to endure yet another one of these exams in 2 weeks. I hate to see her in so much pain.

Our big plan is to try to get Miss Elly to sleep at night!!! She does have her days and nights all mixed up.

Please continue to pray for her as she will still have a long road ahead of her.
With gratefulness,
Gina
