Will Elly come home tomorrow???

Elly might come home tomorrow. She was supposed to come home on Saturday but they noticed a little pimple filled with white fluid on her incision site. They think it might be an infection or some simple fluid that has build up. Dr. Fagelman will be taking a look at her on Monday. He will determine if its a little nothing or if it warrants more investigation. So, maybe, she will be coming home tomorrow!

I am still recovering from my hysterectomy and now I have 3 sick kids too. Poor Joe has had quiet a past 2 weeks. What a wonderful husband I have. He has done everything to make sure that I am okay, the kids are okay and that Elly's room gets done in time for her to come home.

As ironic as it may seem, we were not prepared to have her home already. Even though we have had 3 months, it snuck up on us so quickly. We are rushing around to make sure that all is in order. Since I can not go up and down stairs, we have had to move everything downstairs in two days. Joe's excerise room full of equiptment is now quickly becoming Elly's new room. The room is downstairs and will make it easier for me to care for her. Joe went out in the pouring rain on Friday at 9pm to buy a rug for her new room, and took out all the equipment to the garage. We were relieved when we were told that she would not be coming home on Sat. because we still have to finish building her changing table. The room is looking better but we will be working on it till tomorrow. If she comes home tomorrow, we will be ready for her.

Elly is 4 lbs 8 oz. now and eats very heartily!!!
