Miss Elly is doing quiet well. I am sorry for not updating the blog recently.

Elly is recovering nicely. She is loosing more of this puffy look and is returning back to her more stealthy self. :) I do like the chunky look better but I guess that is a little glimpse into the future.

Infections: She shows no sign of infections and they will stop her antibiotics for now.

Blood: She is going to recieve her 10th blood transfusion today. The doctor says this many transfusions are okay. Her blood gas is also normal.

Lungs: Miss Elly is doing very well on the ventilator and she is going to be weaned off it in the next couple of days.

Intestines: She seems to still be draining from her side drain and that is good because she is getting rid of the excess stuff. She did poop since her surgery which is wonderful. She is also peeing up a storm which is also great.

She does not have pneumonia any more!!

So far so good..... all because of you!!!!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and love.

I will go back now to updating on a daily basis. Now that the surgery is over and I am not so exhausted, I should have time to post daily.
