Elly is 3 lbs 12 oz!! Look at her NO TUBES!!! This was her second day without CPAP for 2 hours. What a delight to see my Bella with no tubes in her face. I was able to hold her just like you would a normal healthy baby. No wires and no attachments. This was by far the best visit yet. I was able to look at her and stand up with her and cradle her and do K Care with her for 2 hours. She was wide awake when I cradled her and we looked at each other for minutes at a time. There is no other feeling in the world like this one!! This is the result of all of your prayers and I thank you deeply.
Elly is increased in her feedings. She now takes 5 CC's of breast milk per hour. We hope to soon wean her off the I.V.
She tolerated her 2 Hours off the CPAP with me. Soon, they will increase that amount of time. Her blood count and CBC's were normal.
This has been a terrific week. I am so happy :) :) :)!!!!!! Thank you for your prayers.
