Elly gave us a little scare this weekend. Her incision site opened a little bit and green stuff came out of it. The doctors where not sure if she had a small hole again or if it was an infection. They resumed her feedings to see if more of the gree material came out. After a day of this, the leakage is minute and they think she has a localized infection. Her blood culture came back negative and so she does not have a blood infection. She is doing great with her lungs. She was put on the next to the lowest setting on the CPAP and is scheduled to come off the machine for one hour intervals begining tomorrow or the day after!! She is one step closer to breathing completely on her own!!

She is now feeding on 2 cc of breast milk per hour and we will see how that goes. Still no poop in two days. I never thought I would want to see a poopy diaper so badly.

Elly is now 3lbs 8 oz. She is really doing great with her weight.
