Elly is 29 weeks adjusted age and is 1.12oz.

She is stable and doing well.

Blood- Her blood count is back to normal after the blood transfusions.
Her CBC blood count was still up but there is no sign of infection. The doctors think that the inflamation of the intestines is what is keeping those numbers up.
Lungs- Her lungs are doing very well. She is still on 20 breaths per minute and is not aided by any oxygen. If it was not for her intestines, the doctors would have removed the ventilator by now.
Intestines- Her intestines are still leaking maconium. There is however, not as much drainage as before. This is sign that perhaps her hole is healing. If it heals, then no surgery is needed. They are going to run a dye test on Next Friday to see where the hole is. If the hole is on the bottom of the intestines, then they will wait more and begin to feed her breast milk. However, if the hole is on the top of the intestines, then surgery will be needed soon. Please pray that the hole is healed quickly.

Kangaroo Care- Because she no longer has any lines from her foot, I may be able to hold her on Friday!! I will hold her in a special hold on my chest known as Kangaroo Care.
