Elly continues to be stable.She is now 1lb 14 oz!!
Blood- Her blood count is normal and still there is no sign of infections in any culture or blood gas.
Lungs- Her ventilator settings were once again lowered to 15 breaths per minute. She is really doing great with her little lungs. She is breathing room air. YEAH!!
Intestines- Her intestines are still leaking meconium but is much less than before. She shows no signs of illeness because of it. The doctors want to do a dye study next week and this will give them more information. For now, they will let her intestines rest and hopefully heal. In either case, Elly will be 30 weeks next week and the longer they can keep her stable bef
ore surgery, the better. Thank yo so much for your prayers!!Stomach- She has a drain tube in her mouth for her stomach. They have lowered the suction because her drainage is so minimal. Your prayers are awsome.
Brain Scan- They did another brain sonogram to see if there was any hemorrage and no signs were visible on the sonogram. Elly's brain continues to grow normally.
Thank you with all my heart for all of your prayers. They are keeping my little girl stable. Your prayers are such an important part of her little life.
