Elly is now 39 weeks aga 4 lbs 6 oz and 16 inchesI am sorry that I have been away for so long. I had a hysterectomy that was badly needed. The doctor told me that I had my uterus plastered against my abdominal wall. I also had numerous scar tissue. I am now one week post surgery and feeling better.
Elly has been doing so well this past week. She is bigger and loves to eat. She eats 2 oz per feed. She is now eating very well from the bottle and is doing well on the breast when I can get there. She has been eating every 3-5 hours a day.
The doctors have informed me that ELLY WILL BE COMING HOME SOON!!!!!!!! They think it might even be next week. I can't believe it. Now we just have to pray that she will not get any colds from anyone once we bring her home.
Please pray for little Wyatt. Her little buddy who has been by her side since their births, is sick. Apperantly, he caught a bad cold or flu strain that has put him in isolation for a while. He was scheduled to go home tomorrow but now it will be a little while longer. Common colds to these litttle ones are very hard on them.
