Elly is now 15 mths old!

She went out on her first Trick or Treat Night on Oct. 31st and loved it!!

Elly is a very happy and smart little girl. What a gift she is to all of us.

She has PT, OT, and Music Therapy which have helped her achieve many goals so far. On any given day you can find her strolling along with her first set of wheels- her walker. She also cruises around eithe by walking along with help, on the sofa, or crawling like a champ!

She has 7 teeth and 2 more on the way. Its a good thing the toothfairy only comes when you loose the teeth.

This past year has been an incredible journey. With your help and support we have come a long way. Elly can say and loves her Kitty, she says dada, and just loves to sing!

She is a people person.

Mom and Dad arrived in a hurry at the York hospital. It was decided that Elly could no longer live inside mommy so the doctors prepared for her birth.
On August 4th at 4:17am, Elly Therese Pecher was born and the world rejoiced at her birth.

THE NICU
Since Elly was too little to be taken to the regular nursery, the specialists took her to a special room for preemie babies which is called the NICU. Here Elly was put on a ventilator to help her breathe and was given many medicines and monitored carefully to make sure that her tiny little body would be okay. Elly looks a little different than many babies because of all the tubes and machines around and on her but she is still as beautiful as all the babies in the world.
