Elly is 37 weeks aga and 4 lbs 1 oz and 15 3/4 inches long

Elly is doing well. I have not bee able to see her the past two days because I have a stomach bug which I do not want to pass on to her.

She certainly grew from last week but that could be the way she was measured. It can be difficult to measure preemies.

She is doing well with her weight but she is still not taking the bottle too well. They might have to call a physical therapist to come and help her to learn how to suck from the bottle. She does well with the breastfeeding but I have not been there for 2 days now.

They will keep her in the incubator a little longer still.

She still has a brady a day or maybe even a couple of bradies in one day.

As it looks to me now, it might be until Nov. before she is home. She has to feed regularly on the bottle and be able to nurse well. Since I will be having my surgery next week, that will interrupt things for the nursing part.
