Elly tried to nurse to day and she did a good job!! She fell asleep after a little while because it was very tiring for her. As you can see from this picture she is very tired.

Elly is doing so well!! She is 3 lbs 13 oz. She will be going into a baby crib and out of her incubator soon. She started nursing now so we will see how long it take her to latch on and get a good feel for it. In about 2-3 days she will be moved to a big crib with no extra heat. She will have to keep her body heat. If she does well with this, then the next hurdle will be the bradies and increase her weight to 4 lbs 7 oz.

The doctor told me today it is quite possible that Elly could be home any time after the next 2 weeks. This is if all goes well which is the Million dollar question.

I can not beleive this journey is almost over at the NICU. Thanks to your prayers and love and support.
